Everything beyond that needs checking. Coffee and water may be complimentary at one business centre and charged per person at another. A television may be included while a projector costs extra. Some spaces include reception support; others simply give you access to the room. Catering, parking and sophisticated hybrid-meeting technology are particularly inconsistent between venues.

Regus currently advertises Portomaso meeting rooms from €19 per hour, although the final price depends on the room, size, date and services selected. Rooms can be booked flexibly rather than requiring a long-term office commitment. 

Regus also describes its meeting-room network as offering professional Wi-Fi, presentation and audiovisual facilities and on-site support. However, businesses should confirm exactly which technology is included in the particular Portomaso room being booked rather than assuming every AV service is part of the base rate. 

Best for: client presentations, recruitment interviews, board meetings, visiting executives and businesses wanting a recognisable St Julian’s corporate address.

Ask before booking: exact room capacity, screen/video-conference equipment, coffee package, parking rate and whether VAT is included in the displayed booking price.

The Boardroom costs €35 per hour, €120 for a half-day or €240 for a full day. Wi-Fi, soundproofing, TV/HDMI, mounted whiteboards, coffee, tea and water are included, while catering is available separately. Published prices include VAT. 

The wider The Brewhouse complex also offers restaurants, event spaces and other facilities, which can make it practical for team meetings that continue into lunch, networking or an informal session afterwards. 

Best for: strategy meetings, creative workshops, team sessions and companies located in central Malta.

3. Ruby Ninu Workspaces — St Julian’s

The €80 headline rate is considerably higher than several alternatives on this list, but the comparison becomes more reasonable when refreshments and presentation equipment are factored in.

For HR teams organising a management workshop or a company wanting a more design-led environment for clients, this may be worth the premium.

Best for: premium client meetings, workshops, presentations, leadership sessions and businesses where the environment itself matters.

This is the option to look at when “conference room” really does mean conference, rather than eight people sitting around a table.

The Friggieri Hall accommodates approximately 60–80 people in theatre style or up to 30 in boardroom configuration. It can also be divided into two meeting rooms.

The smaller meeting rooms accommodate around 10–12 delegates in boardroom layout or approximately 15 theatre-style. 

One detail procurement teams should notice: the published rental price includes the chairs and tables available in the room, but the organiser is responsible for room setup and dismantling. That is exactly the type of detail that can be missed when comparing venue prices. 

The rate sheet available through search is dated 2025, so request an updated quotation before budgeting for a 2026 event.

Best for: workshops, training days, company presentations and conferences requiring considerably more capacity than a normal boardroom.
